Jason Brown, DDS, is a skilled Doctor of Dental Surgery specializing in Cosmetic, Family, Implant, General Dentistry, and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Brown provides all his patients with exceptional comprehensive care at Campustown Dental in Ames, Iowa. He is excited to return to Ames and serve Story County’s dental needs.
Dr. Brown grew up in West Des Moines, Iowa. After high school, he attended Iowa State University, where he played all four years of varsity ice hockey with the Cyclones winning the CSCHL tournament his senior year in 2007.
He then graduated from dental school at the University of Iowa in Iowa City in 2011. Since graduating from dental school, he has been practicing general dentistry on the east side of Des Moines in both Pleasant Hill and Bondurant.
Dr. Brown is passionate about all aspects of dentistry, emphasizing cosmetic dentistry. He has completed numerous education programs in esthetic dentistry, Invisalign® certification, laser certification, complex surgical extractions, endodontics, and implant placement.
He is currently a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Iowa Dental Association (IDA), and the Des Moines Dental Society.
Dr. Brown continues to expand his knowledge in the field of dentistry by attending educational courses throughout the year and staying active with the most up-to-date research.
Dr. Brown lives in Waukee with his wife and three beautiful children, his four-year-old son Chael and two-year-old identical twin daughters Raegan and Remington. They have two adorable fury children, their two dogs Ruby and Jazz.
He enjoys physical fitness, playing hockey, arts and crafts, and spending time with family and friends.
Scott McPherson, DDS is a skilled and practiced Doctor of Dental Surgery specializing in Comprehensive Family Dentistry. Dr. McPherson takes pride in providing all his patients with high-quality, comprehensive care at Campustown Dental in Ames, Iowa.

Dr. McPherson chose to pursue his career path in dentistry because he has always been interested in and fascinated by science and medicine. His favorite parts about his job include his coworkers, building relationships with patients, and watching patients grow up. He has many young adult patients that he began seeing as children.
When he isn’t at the office, Dr. McPherson enjoys hunting, biking, cooking, grilling, archery, and hanging out with his dog, Rueger. Also, he is passionate about supporting Animal Rescue League and A Heinz 57.
I began my dental career over 20 years ago as a registered dental assistant working in oral surgery and periodontal.
In 2012 I graduated from DMACC’s dental hygiene program and enjoy educating and encouraging my patients through their dental journey. My favorite part of being a dental hygienist is providing patients the experience of good dental care and the feeling of a great smile.
I love getting to know my patients and building long term relationships. I also attended Kirkwood Community College and received her associates of applied science degree in 2001. While attending Kirkwood Community college I played softball for 2 years.
In my off time I enjoy watching my kids play sports, watching movies,traveling and spending time with friends and family. My husband Joe, my 2 sons, 2 step daughters and I reside on an acreage outside of Maxwell.
I earned my Registered Dental Assistant certificate in 2019 and my Associate in Applied
Science Dental Hygiene in 2022 both from DMACC. I enjoy helping patients perfect their smile.
I have two Australian Shepherds named Millie and Kashi. I enjoy kayaking, shopping and going to dog parks.
I began my dental career 25 years ago as a Dental Front Office Manager for an Orthodontic office. My current role is patient financial and scheduling coordinator.
The best reward about my job is establishing relationships with patients and seeing their beautiful smiles when they leave the office.
I enjoy working with our Ames team every day and the memories we make.
Outside the office, I love spending time with loved ones and relaxing at home.
I graduated from Marshalltown Community College Dental assisting program in 2003. I
assisted in pediatric dentistry for 18 years, I loved working with children.
I moved back to the Ames area and started with Campustown Dental. I enjoy learning new skills and seeing how this side of dentistry is done. I like to ease patients’ nerves and make their dental visits as enjoyable as possible.
Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with family, keeping busy with my 4 year old daughter and being outdoors.
